Dr. Mohamed Elsherbiny

Chairman of the Board

is a dermatologist with experience in management, marketing, and clinical research. His career started in 1986 at Pfizer, followed by roles as medical director at SANDOZ, senior marketing and medical director at Bristol Myers Squibb, and global project manager at PRA International (currently ICON). Since 2007, he has served as Chairman of the Board at Genuine Research Center, focusing on innovation, strategic planning, and operational efficiency in both the medical and business sectors.

Dr. Mohsen Fathallah

CEO & Managing Director

A seasoned pharmaceutical executive and clinical research expert with over 30 years of experience in drug development, medical research, and leadership. CEO & Managing Director of Genuine Research Center (GRC) since 2007, leading Egypt’s first private-sector CRO in bioequivalence studies. Formerly CEO of Genuine Pharma, Business Development Director at Aventis-Pharma Egypt, and Medical Director at Hoechst Marion Russell. Holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Pharmacology (Germany) and Medical Microbiology (Switzerland). Experienced in clinical trials (Phases I–IV), regulatory affairs, and drug safety, with publications in BMJ and WHO-sponsored studies.

Dr. Ahmed H. Elshafeey

Study Director

Dr. Ahmed H. Elshafeey is a distinguished pharmaceutical scientist specializing in pharmaceutics and drug delivery systems. He holds a Ph.D., Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, with Ph.D. research conducted at the University of Rhode Island, USA. A Professor at Cairo University since 2015, he has also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Since 2007, he has been Study Director at Genuine Research Center (GRC), focusing on bioequivalence, pharmacokinetics, and bioassay development. His research includes nanotechnology-based delivery and formulation optimization, with publications in leading journals.

Ingy Mohamed Saleh

Quality Assurance Manager

Ingy Mohamed Saleh is a highly qualified professional with a Doctorate in Business Administration from Ain Shams University. She has extensive experience in quality assurance, currently serving as a Quality Assurance Manager at Genuine Research Center (GRC). Her expertise includes conducting audits, ensuring compliance with international standards, and training professionals in pharmaceutical and business fields. She has also contributed to academic research, with multiple publications in leadership and strategy implementation. Fluent in Arabic and English, she possesses strong analytical and communication skills.

Ahmed Abdelazem

Senior Technical Manager

A seasoned pharmacist with over 20 years of experience in bioequivalence (BE) studies and pharmaceutical research. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Manager at Genuine Research Center (GRC), he has spent more than a decade managing and reviewing both in-vivo and in-vitro studies, with over 7 years dedicated to performing and supervising BE studies. He is also well-versed in managing all types of stability studies, ensuring regulatory compliance and scientific accuracy. Previously, he worked for over three years as a Quality Control Manager at DBK Pharma, where he oversaw quality assurance processes and GMP adherence. He holds a Clinical Pharmacy Diploma (2009) and is fluent in Arabic and English, with strong analytical and communication skills that support his leadership in both technical and regulatory environments.

Samar Sedky

Director of Business Development

  • Samar Sedky is a Director of Business Development at GRC Genuine Research Center, leading strategic growth initiatives and expanding into new markets.
  • She has over 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, business development, and external relations across various companies, including DataClin CRO, AstraZeneca, and Cipla Pharmaceuticals.
  • She holds an MBA from the American University of Cairo and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Cairo University.
  • Samar is fluent in English, proficient in German, and conversational in French.
  • She is highly skilled in communication, management, and leadership.

Sally Khairat

Clinical Trials Manager

  • Sally Khairat is an experienced clinical pharmacist with over a decade of expertise in clinical trials, primarily in oncology. Since 2009, she has held roles such as Study Coordinator, Clinical Research Associate, and Clinical Trial Manager, managing trials across various therapeutic areas. Sally holds a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (Oncology) from Cambridge University and certifications in Hospital Management and Total Quality Management from AUC. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (PMI), with an MBA in Strategic Management from AAST. With a strong background in clinical trials, project management, and strategic planning, Sally is dedicated to advancing clinical research and improving patient care.
